European military mission heads to Greenland as Trump's ambitions undeterred by talks

A European military mission is arriving Thursday in Greenland to help boost the Arctic island's security following a meeting in Washington between American, Danish, and Greenlandic officials that ended with a declaration of “fundamental disagreement". US President Donald Trump covets the autonomous territory of Denmark, which he says is essential to the security of the US.
